You Matter Very Much

Hi guys, today I'm back with another card share.

I realised I hadn't used a Lawn Fawn set in a while so I decided to use an older set, but it's one of my favourites!

I first started off with cutting two pieces of Neenah Solar White cardstock at the same size and ran one of them through my die cutting machine with a die by Pretty Pink Posh. Once that was die cut I coloured it using my four of my blue distress inks & a mini ink blending tool. Once that was completed I stamped out my images using memento tuxedo black ink and used my copics to colour in several images from the Lawn Fawn - Critters in the Sea set. I cut them out and outline the edges with a black marker to make them look like they were cut out perfectly.

I adhered the inked piece to the other piece of cardstock I had cut to the same size and then adhered foam adhesive on the back of the panel and adhered it to a white cardbase cut to 4" x 5 1/2". I then adhered my images using more foam adhesive and some liquid adhesive to create my scene.

I then cut another piece of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the 'Friendly Flowers - Simon Says Stamp' set onto the piece of cardstock and adhered that on top of the card and added a yellow enamel dot to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by today & I'll be back again soon!

Sending You Love and Hugs

Hello everyone, I'm back again with another card.

Today I'm featuring lots of simon says stamp products & a few other products from some of my favourite companies also.

I started off with stamping the envelopes from the Simon Says Stamp - Sending Happy Thoughts stamp set on some watercolour paper in some versamark and heat embossing them with clear embossing powder. I then grabbed my Kuretake Gansai watercolours to colour them in using different colours. Once they were dry I randomly adhered them to a piece of neenah desert storm cardstock and then grabbed one of the hearts from the Wplus9 heart stackers dies (I'm using these a ton at the moment!) put it over all the envelopes - making sure I have each colour of envelope within the heart and die cut it out with my bigshot.

Once that was cut out I used the sending die also by Simon Says Stamp to cut out the sending sentiment out of black foam and black cardstock and adhered them together of dimension. I then adhered the sentiment to the heart. I then cut a teeny tiny strip of neenah solar white cardstock and stamped the 'you love & hugs' sentiment on it with versafine onyx black ink - that sentiment is from the sending and wishing set by Simon Says Stamp also. Once that heart was ready to go, I used some more desert storm cardstock as a cardbase - cut to 4" x 5 1/2" (my go to size) and ran it through the linear embossing folder by lifestyle crafts to add some triangles on it. I then put foam adhesive on the back of the heart and adhered it to the cardbase and the card was complete.

Hope you enjoyed todays card and I'll be back tomorrow with a video.

Thanks for stopping by today. :)

Hi all, I'm back from a long break. I sorta deserted my blog / youtube for a while there.
I had a lot of problems at work since my last post and just couldn't work on my blog or youtube channel at all. I then went on a holiday to New Zealand for christmas / new years and now I'm back and ready to start up my blog / youtube channel again!

So today I'm back with a super simple card using my brand new Mama Elephant inks I just received in the mail when I got back home and a stamp set and die also from Mama Elephant. I also used a die by Wplus9.

To create this card I started off with a Neenah Desert Storm cardbase cut to 4" x 5 1/2" - this is my go to size for a card, because I like the skinner longer look. I then used another random piece of cardstock and used a heart die by Wplus9 and die cut it out of the cardstock.

I then used the negitive portion of the cardstock and covered the desert storm cardbase with it. I used the Water Blooms stamp set by Mama Elephant and their pigment inks to stamp inside the heart - making sure to overlap to get the shape of the heart. Once I had finished stamping I removed the cardstock piece off the cardbase to reveal the heart shape. (I hope this makes sense, I should have taken photos or filmed this card..)

To finish off the card I cut the thanks die by Mama Elephant out of some white cardstock and then again out of fun foam and adhered them together and then onto the card. I then grabbed some white enamel dots by Doodlebug and added them to the centre of the flowers I could see and the card was complete.

The inspiration for this card was from a card made by May.

I was really inspired by the coloured inks on the kraft cardstock & how they made the shape of a christmas tree. :)

Thanks for stopping by today and I will have more videos coming soon and will try and make a weekly series for you guys!
