Halloween Tags (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm back with another Halloween project this time using the Costume Party stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I coloured a ton of these images a while back and had another video in mind for them, but alas got sick, ran out of time and decided to make some quick tags to use for Halloween tonight!

Basically I first stamped, coloured and cut out my images. I used a bunch of Copic Markers to colour them in with and the coordinating dies to cut them out - this makes it so much faster. I then die cut 5 tags from Tag You're It out of Sugarplum cardstock, then five bottom half of the tags from Cilantro cardstock and then the Birch trees dies from Black cardstock.

Once all my pieces were die cut, I adhered the trees on flat to the back of the tags. I stamped 'Trick or Treat' at the bottom of each green hill and added foam tape onto the back and then onto the bottom of my tags.

I then adhered on my characters with more foam tape and flat adhesive. Once all my images were down the last thing I needed to do was tie twine through the top of my tags.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll catch you all next time.

3 Cards 1 Stamp Set - Happy Haunting (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here with a Halloween project for you all using the Happy Haunting stamp set from My Favorite Things. I decided to do another 3 Cards 1 Stamp set video for you all, it's been a while but I thought this was the perfect set for it. Apologises for my voice in this video - I was quite sick at the time I finally got to voice over this video so, yeah, so sorry!

For my first card I used all four characters along with the Gift Box Cover Up die. I ink blended Distress Ink Oxide inks into each rectangle to resemble what each colour was most prominent in each character. I adhered down my orange frame onto my card base, adhered down each coloured rectangle and adhered the coordinating character over top. I then white heat embossed the sentiment onto a black strip and cut it down into a fishtail banner then adhered it onto my card.

For my second card, I used the Diagonal Sentiment Strip Cover Up die and cut it from black cardstock. I then cut it again from white cardstock to be able to colour the strips in with Distress Oxide Inks. Once they were all coloured in coordinating colours I adhered the frame and the strips onto a piece of scrap paper covered in adhesive. I then white heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and adhered my cluster of images. I finished up by adhering the panel then to a white card base.

For my last card I made it interactive. I used Blueprints 31 and Pierced Circle Frames dies and cut them both from a piece of red polka dot paper. I then coloured a piece of white cardstock with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink and cut it from the same circle die as before. I then took a Spin and Slide disc from MFT also and adhered it between two larger circles. I adhered the red frame onto my card base, then placed in the spinner piece, and wedged the blue piece between the circle and adhered it down into the centre of the panel. I stamped the sentiment with black in the middle and also adhered the clouds flat. I then adhered my superman on top of the spinner circles and this card was done.

That finished up all three of my cards today. For a more in depth look at the cards, the video is linked down below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll catch you tomorrow with another Halloween video!

Craftie Cafe - Baby Themed Image Shaker Cards (Video)

Hi everyone, Eloise here for Craftie Cafe and today I’ll be using the LittleBundle stamp set from Lawn Fawn to create two cards, a girl and a boy themed and they’re little clothes are going to be used as shaker pieces, which is super fun.

To begin, I stamped and coloured my images from the LittleBundle stamp set and then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. I sort of used more “boy” and “girl” themed colours for each card. Once all my pieces were die cut, I set them off to the side and worked on my shaker panels. I took two rectangle dies, nested them together and ran them through on some woodgrain cardstock, this will create a frame. I did this two times then went and used some score tape and added it along the back of each and added a piece of acetate. Then, I took some foam tape and added it around the edges also.

Now, I needed to work on my backgrounds. I took two card bases cut to 4” x 11”, then scored at 5 ½” to create a top folding card and used the Clouds stencil from My Favorite Things to ink blend some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink over top. This creates the most realistic looking clouds and makes the background look so fun. If you don’t have this stencil, used acetate and cut your own or use a die to create cloud shapes, and just flip them each time to create the same look. I then laid my clothing in the middle of each card and adhered my frame over top of each of them.

For my sentiment, I took the Scripty Hello from Lawn Fawn and die cut it twice from grey cardstock and another time from green and pink cardstock. I used Guava and Cilantro from Lawn Fawn for this. Once they were die cut, I adhered them together using liquid glue off centre, so each of them have a grey shadow background. I then adhered them into the centre of my shaker panels and then used some black strips of cardstock to stamp ‘Little One’ onto then white heat embossed them and adhered them on top of my sentiments and that finished off my card for today.

I hope you enjoyed and I’ll catch you next time!

Sunny Studio Stamps - Jolly Gingerbread

Hi everyone, today I'm up on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog using the Jolly Gingerbread stamp set. I made the gingerbread house interactive by making it open to reveal the gingerbread on the inside of the card.

Craftie Cafe - Welcome, Little One (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Craftie Cafe and I have a new baby card to share with you all. I'll be using the Lion and Tigers stamp set by My Favorite Things along with the Essential Greetings stamp set also by MFT for my sentiment, since the Lion and Tigers set isn't aimed for baby themed cards.

To begin my card today I first stamped three of my lion images onto some masking paper. I then fussy cut them out using some fine detail scissors. I then used a stitched rectangle die and cut out a piece of white cardstock. Then stamped the smallest lion first, added a mask on top, stamped the lion on the right, added a mask on top and then stamped the final lion on the left and added the mask over top. Then, I used another piece of masking paper, cut a hill shape and adhered it onto the bottom of my panel, underneath the lions feet. I then used Broken China, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to blend the sky. Next I removed the hill mask, applied the negative piece of the mask and used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to blend the grass. Once I blended my grass, I removed all the masks and used my Copic Markers to colour my lions.

Now that all my colouring was done, I cut down a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow Patterned Paper from Lawn Fawn and covered my card base. I then used foam tape along the back of my panel and adhered it horizontally onto a vertical card – there is a little over hang, but I like this look a lot better than on a horizontal card. I then used the Essential Sentiments stamp set and white heat embossed ‘Welcome, Little One’ onto a thin strip of black cardstock. I then mounted that onto the top of my panel with more foam tape and that finished up my card for today. This card was super fast to make!
