Craftie Cafe - Happy Birthday (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Craftie Café and I’ll be using a planner stamp set from Lawn Fawn along with a few frames from Taylored Expressions to create a birthday card.

To begin my card today I first went ahead and cut out 6 frames from the Taylored Expressions MiniFrame dies. I kept both the frame and the inner piece as the inner pieces is where I’m going to do my stamping. I then used the Lawn Fawn: Plan on It Birthday set and stamped out some of the small images from the set onto my rectangle pieces with some black ink. I also stamped them onto some full sticky post it notes for masks. Once I finished my stamping I went ahead and cut out the masks with some fine detail scissors and placed them over my images. I then used some Distress Inks to colour each of the different rectangles. Once I finished my ink blending, I used some Copic Markers to colour in all my images.

Next up, I cut down another piece of white cardstock and splattered some gold shimmer mist over the bottom right hand corner. Then, added foam tape onto the back of my frames and adhered them down in the bottom corner also. Then I used some flat adhesive to adhere down my coloured pieces inside each of my frames. To finish up, I used the Scripty Big Words from Lawn Fawn stamp set, stamped down the Birthday sentiment with black ink and die cut it out using the coordinating dies. I then adhered that onto the panel also using foam tape and to finish up my sentiment, I used the ‘Happy’ sentiment from the planner stamp set and white heat embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock and also adhered that onto my panel. I cut down a strip of green striped cardstock and adhered it down to the right hand side of my card base, then my panel next to it.

Link to the video is down below.

That finished up my card today, I hope you enjoyed and got inspired to use planner stamp sets to create a card. Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll catch you next time.

Pretty Pink Posh - Christmas Projects (Video)

Hi everyone, the past couple of weeks I've had some videos for Pretty Pink Posh, below are the links to the posts and videos for last minute Christmas card and tag inspiration!

The first card I have to share is a one layer panel card using a ton of images from different Pretty Pink Posh winter stamp sets. The video tutorial is down below.

The next project I have to share with you all is some Christmas Stitched Tags.

I used the Sparkle Dot Patterns 1 stamp set to create a Christmas Tree shape that I stitched with different shades of green thread. Again, the video is linked down below.

Thanks for stopping by today and check out the blog for more inspiration on each of these projects!

Craftie Cafe - Let's Make A Splash

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Craftie Cafe and I'll be using the Diamond Lace Cover Up Dies from Lil Inker along with the Bubbles stamp set from Avery Elle.

To begin I stamped out my images from the Bubbles set and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For my background, I die cut the Diamond Lace die from some white cardstock and poked out all the little holes. I then went around the back of the die cut, where all the smaller diamonds are inlayed and added strips of adhesive on the back around the diamonds. I then adhered some squares of aqua cardstock on the back so some of the colour the colour showed through the front.

Next, I adhered the die cut panel on top of a white card base. Some of the white showed through and some blue showed through, so it gave it a nice effect. I then foam mounted all my critters and seaweed I coloured earlier onto my card. I then white heat embossed the sentiment ‘Let’s make a splash’ onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered that to my card base also.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll catch you all next time!

Lawn Fawn - Sprinkled With Joy Gift Card Holder (Video)

Hi everyone. Today I'm over on the Lawn Fawn blog and YouTube channel and for this project I'll be using the Sprinkled with Joy stamp set that was release last year, but it is still one of my favourite sets to date so I wanted to use it again this year and I'm going to also be incorporating a gift card inside the oven too, to give it a little extra use for this holiday season.

The video is linked down below.

I hope you enjoyed my project today, I love finding ways to incorporate a gift card in for Christmas cards, it gives a little extra surprise for those who receive it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll catch you next time!

Christmas Card Series 2017 - Day Two (Video)

Hi everyone, Eloise here for Day Two of my Christmas Card Series of 2017. Today I'll be using the Trimming The Tree and Say It's Christmas stamp set from Clearly Besotted to create a simple scene card.

To begin my card today, I stamped, coloured and cut out my images from the Trimming The Tree set. I set them off to the side and worked on my background. I used a piece of 2" post it tape, cut a snowy hill with some scissors, adhered it onto my piece of watercolour paper and ink blended some Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean over the top and blended it out smoothly towards the edges of my panel to make it feel like it's faded into white.

Next, I adhered my images onto my background with some foam tape. Then I used the Say It's Christmas stamp set and stamped the 'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year' sentiment onto the top right hand side with black ink. Lastly, I popped up my panel on a piece of fun foam and then onto a card base that I covered with some navy plaid paper from Lawn Fawn.

The video is linked down below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll be back soon with Day Three.

Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017

Hi everyone! Today I have some tags to share with you all for the Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist for 2017. I am so honoured to be apart of this this year! I'm supporting Pretty Pink Posh this year along with my mentor Carissa Wiley, who came up with the theme for snow for these tags, so I create some simple scene tags with using water splotches and also layered sequins to create a snow effect.

For my tags today I started out with the Stitched Duo 1 Die Set and cut out six tags from some watercolour cardstock. Then, I used some Distress Oxide Inks and ink blended Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans onto 3 of my tags. I then splattered them with water and dried it with a heat tool. This was the first way I incorporated snow into my tags. Such a simple effect, but gets the job done.

Next, I stamped out my images from the Winter Woodland stamp set and coloured them in with a variety of Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then used the remaining three tags that I die cut earlier, cut them down using the Stitched Borders 1 Dies and then stamped 'For You' from the Everyday Greetings stamp set on each piece with black ink.

Next, I used some Sparkling Clear Snowflake Sequins and adhered them onto the backgrounds of each of my tags. Then I used some Silver 4mm Sequins from the Starry Night Mix and adhered them into the centres of my snowflakes. Then to finish off my snow look, I adhered some Clear Droplets around the background too. This was the second way I incorporated snow into my background and these clear snowflakes are just perfect for the simple touch!

To finish up my tags, I first adhered my sentiment piece with foam tape at the bottom of my tags. Then adhered my holly branch and fox with more foam tape. I punched a hole at the top of each tag and threaded through some Silver Hemp Cord from Lawn Fawn and also tied a bow in some white ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure you head over to the Ellen Hutson blog to see my mentor Carissa Wiley's tag - she created an amazing one, I absolutely love it!

Catch you all next time!
