Penguin Palace - Our Little Star

Hello friends, Eloise here and today I have a baby themed card to share with you all as my last post for Penguin Palace. It's been a very short time on the Penguin Palace Design Team, but I've enjoyed my time here and I wish them the very best with their company.

Today I'll be using the Welcome, Little One stamp set to create a simple baby card.

To start off  I stamped out my images and sentiment, coloured them in with Copic Markers and die cut them all out using the coordinating dies.

I cut down some strips of striped patterned paper and adhered them onto a card base. I then added foam tape to the backs of my images and adhered them into place on my card.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you next time.

Craft Online - Relax Summer Card (Video)

Hello friends, Eloise here today for Craft Online and I have a card and video to share with you today using the Spice Garden stamp set to create a summer themed card.

I started off with stamping out my images and colouring them in with Copic Markers. I then die cut them out  with the coordinating dies and set them off to the side.

(Copic Markers Used: YG61, YG63, YG67 / G03, G09, G28 / YG01, YG03, YG23 / R81, R83, R85 / R00, R11, R20, R22 / E53, E55, E57 / C0, C1, C3)

Next up I cut a piece of woodgrain cardstock into a few strips and added more Copic Markers to each of the pieces to give them a little more dimension. I then added foam tape along the backs of all the pieces.

I then took a piece of watercolour cardstock and painted stripes of grey watercolour along the back. I dried it with a heat tool and then splattered some darker grey watercolour over top too for extra interest.

Lastly I adhered my plants with the shelf onto the background with the already added foam tape. I then tied a small bow from some hemp cord and adhered it onto the sign that says 'Relax' for the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope all of you that are currently in summer feel inspired to create a summer themed card.

The video is linked down below for you to watch.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you next time.

Penguin Palace - Card and Tags

Hello friends, since I missed my weekly Penguin Palace post last week, today I'll be sharing a tag set as well as a card. I used the Cuddly Sheep's Season's Greetings stamp set to create an easy set of three tags as well as a simple Christmas card.

For my first project, I'll share with you my tags. I made some tags for Hello Bluebird a little while ago, I loved the simple design and colours so much I decided to re-create them using these cute sheep images.

I started off with cutting three tags from watercolour cardstock and three from plain white. I then cut a snowy hill on the plain white tags. I then used Cracked Pistachio and Everygreen Bough Distress Inks on the tags to colour them. I then white heat embossed the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment on the tops of the tags. I adhered the snowy hills to each tag.

I then stamped and coloured my images in with Copic Markers. I used coordinating dies to cut them out and then adhered them onto each of my tags. Lastly I threaded through some twine on the tops of the tags and tied a bow using jute twine.

That finished up my first project, now for the card. I used the same set as the tags and create a simple string lights card.

I started off with drawing some strings onto a piece of white cardstock. I then stamped the baubles and accessories onto each of the strings. I used Copic Markers to colour them in and then cut them out using scissors.

Tip: you could easily draw the strings, cut them out with scissors and die cut each of the baubles and things separately, but I found this way a little easier, even if my fussy cuts skills are complete garbage, haha.

I added foam tape along the backs and adhered them down onto a blue card base. I curved my sentiment onto an acrylic block and stamped it down into place with black ink. To give a little interest and texture to my card I tied a hemp bow onto one of the string lights.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my projects today.

See you soon.

Hello Bluebird - Merry Pigs

Hello friends, today I'm back for Hello Bluebird and today I'll be using the Merry Pigs stamp set to create a simple Christmas card.

To start off my project today I stamped out my images and coloured them in with Copic Markers.

Tip: I found getting this little piggy to line up correctly for die cutting kinda difficult. To get it perfect, line up the stamp inside of the die. Then pick it up with an acrylic block. That way it will be a perfect die cut image.

Once my image were coloured in, I die cut them with the coordinating dies

(Copic Markers Used: R00, R11, R20, R22 / YG61, YG63, YG67 / C00 / R000, R00, R30 / R17, R29, R89 / Y11, Y13, Y15 / E95, E97, E99, E07 / E53, E55, E57)

For my background, I cut a slope onto a piece of scrap cardstock and used that as a stencil to blend the sky. I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean for that, just for a light touch. I then adhered my scene in the centre.

For the patterned paper, I took a piece from an old Bo Bunny paper pack and die cut an oval from the centre. I then adhered a coordinating size of scalloped oval and adhered it over top. I then added foam tape along the back and adhered it over my ink blended scene.

Lastly, for the sentiment I curved it around the shape of the oval with a piece of acetate. Then I adhered the acetate to an acrylic block and stamped it down with black ink into place. That way the shape would be perfect.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed. It's very simple for me, but I kinda like it.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you soon.

Hello Bluebird - Hello Winter

Hello friends, today I have a post for Hello Bluebird using the brand new Skating Together stamp set. I also paired it with the Charlie Alpha dies for the sentiment.

To start off I stamped out three of the skating images onto some white cardstock and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I then die cut them out using the coordinating dies and set them off to the side. While I had my die cutting machine out I took the Charlie Alpha dies and cut the sentiment 'Hello Winter' from a piece of white cardstock as well. I made sure to keep the inside of the 'O' and 'R' for later use.

(Copic Markers Used: V01, V12, V15, V17 / BG11, BG23, BG49 / B21, B24, B26 / RV13, RV25, RV09 / E42, E43, E44 / E000, E00, E21 / C3, C5, C7 / W1, W3, W5 / R24, R29, R89 / YG05, YG07, YG09 / YR12, YR14, YR18 / R30 / B0000, B000, B01)

Next I took a piece of watercolour paper and ink blended some Distress Inks over the entire background. I then added foam tape behind my white die cut panel and adhered it into place over the Distress Inked piece. I also tied a bow through the 'O' with jute twine. I added foam tape to the backs of the middles and adhered them into place as well.

(Distress Inks Used: Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio)

Lastly, I added foam tape to the backs of my images, adhered them into place and cut off the excess. For a last finishing touch I added sequins to the background for a little more sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my project today and are loving the brand new release as much as I am.

See you soon.

Hello Bluebird - Team Share North Star Reveal

Hello everyone. Today is Day Four of Team Share days over at Hello Bluebird and today we are showcasing the brand new North Star stamp set. This is the perfect New Year's stamp set that features five characters as well as some constellation stamps. This is such a cute and unique stamp set and honestly it's one of my favourites.

To start off my card today I stamped out my images from North Star and also the trees from Yeti or Not and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I then went ahead and fussy cut out all my images (there are coordinating dies, I just don't have them as of yet).

(Copic Markers Used: E95, E97, E99, E07 / YG61, YG63, YG67 / E42, E43, E44, E47 / W0, W1, W3, W5)

For my background, I decided to use a stencil from MFT to create the background, just because it was easier, but of course you could use the Hill and Dale Dies if you would like to create your own stencil.

I used Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Black Soot for my layered inking. I then flicked on some water and dried it off with a heat tool. I then white heat embossed the sentiment and other constellation images onto the background.

Lastly, I added foam tape onto the backs of all the images and adhered them into place and then adhered the entire panel onto a white card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll see you soon.

Penguin Palace - Welcome, Little One

Hello friends, today I'm back on my blog for Penguin Palace using their Welcome, Little One stamp set. This is the perfect baby themed set with lots of adorable images and even cuter sentiments.

To start off my card today I stamped out my images, coloured them with Copics and cut them out using the coordinating dies

(Copic Markers Used: R81, R83, R85 / R000 / E000, E00, E21 / BG10, BG11, BG23 / C0, C1, C3 / 0 / Y000, Y00, Y23 / Y11, Y13, Y18)

Next I made a white card base and stamped out the feet images from the same set with pink ink at a diagonal. I then added foam tape onto the backs of my images and adhered them into place in the centre of my card.

Lastly, I stamped the two sentiments above and below the cluster with black ink.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you feel inspired and I'll see you next week.

25 Days of Christmas Tags (Hello Bluebird)

Hello crafty friends, today I'm here again to participate in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. Today's inspiration comes from Hello Bluebird

I started off with stamping out my images from the Snow Play stamp set, colouring them in with Copics and cutting them out using the coordinating dies

(Copic Markers Used: YG03, YG23, YG67 / B01, B02, B16 / W3, W5, W7 / R17, R24, R29 / Y13, Y18, Y38 / W0, W2, W4 / E53, E57, E59 / E50, E51, E53 / YR12, YR16 / BG11, BG23, BG49 / RV13, RV25, RV19 / R000, R30 / C00, C0, 0 / C7 / W00, W1)

Next I die cut four tags from watercolour cardstock and four from regular white cardstock. I used the Hill and Dale dies on the plain white tags for the snow at the bottom of each tag. I then stamped the 'Season's Greetings' sentiment from the Snow Play stamp set onto the tags and white heat embossed them.

I then ink blended Evergreen Bough Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks onto each of them. I flicked some water on top, picked it up with a paper towel and dried it off with a heat tool. I added foam tape onto the backs of all the snow drifts and images ands adhered them into place.

Lastly I threaded through some twine at the tops of the tags and tied a bow using some hemp cord.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Check out Tracey's blog for more information as well as more inspiration.

25 Days of Christmas Tags (Sunny Studio Stamps)

Hello friends, today I'm back to share some more tags for Tracey NcNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. Today's inspiration is from Sunny Studio Stamps.

For my tags I decided to use the Happy Owlidays stamp set. I stamped all my images, coloured them with Copic Markers and die cut them all out using the dies. I also cut extra white die cuts for the backers.

(Copic Markers Used: YG03, YG23, YG67 / YR12, YR16 / E50, E51, E53, E55, E57 / BG11, BG23, BG49 / R17, R24, R27, R29, R56, R59)

Once they were die cut out, I adhered them altogether using adhesive. I also adhered the white die cuts onto the backs of each of the tags, so they would be clean and have somewhere to write on.

For the sentiment I white heat embossed 'Happy Owlidays' onto some black pieces and cut a banner end on each of them. I punched holes through the sentiment tag and also through the wreath. I threaded twine through and used plain twine to tie a bow on each.

That finished up my tags for today, I hope you enjoyed them. I love creating tags from images like this - makes them super fun and unique.

Make sure you head over to Tracey's blog for more information and inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll see you soon.

Pretty Pink Posh Blog

Now that all of those details are out of the way, let's move onto the project I made.

------------------------------------------------

I used the Penguin Pals stamp set for today's project to make a penguin tree. I do this every year without fail and these penguins were just screaming to be made into a Christmas Tree, so that's what I decided to do.

To start off my project today I stamped, coloured and die cut out all my penguins and accessories. Then I used the 'Merry Wishes' sentiment that I previously cut apart and white heat embossed it onto a piece of watercolour cardstock.

(Copic Markers Used: W3, W5, W7 / W00, W0, W1 / E53, E57, E59 / C1 / YR14, YR07 / R14, R24, R27 / RV13, RV25, RV19 / YG03, YG23, YG67 / R000 / 0 / BG10)

Next I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire to ink blended over the background. I then flicked on some water and dried it off with a heat tool.

I then added foam tape along the backs of all the images and adhered them into place adding their little hats as well.

Lastly, I used the new Berry Bright Confetti Mix and sprinkled some around my project.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, the next person on the hop is Jessica Frost-Ballas

Make sure you leave comments as you go to be entered into the giveaways.

See you soon!

Supplies Used:

Penguin Palace - Hedgehogs in Love

Hi friends, today I'm back for Penguin Palace with a 10 minute card to share with you all. I'll be using the Hedgehogs in Love stamp set along with Distress Inks to create my card today.

To start off my card today, I cut a square of watercolour paper, a circle and a hill piece and ink blended them in with Distress Inks. I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire for the sky. Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke for the moon and Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn for the hill. Once they were ink blended I flicked on some water and dried them off with a heat tool. I then adhered them together using flat adhesive and foam tape.

I then used the Hedgehogs in Love stamp set and stamped out the hugging pair. I then coloured them in with a couple of Copic Markers and die cut them out using the coordinating dies

I then added foam tape along the back and adhered it onto my scene. For the sentiment I used black ink and stamped the 'Sending Hedgehugs' on the bottom underneath the pair and that finished up my card for today.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed my super simple and  easy 10 minute card for today.

See you soon.

25 Days of Christmas Tags (Birch Press Design)

Hi friends, today I have some tags to share with you all for Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Today is inspiration from Birch Press Design and I'm so excited to share these tags with you today.

So a little while ago I used this Radiant Ornament Layering Set and I thought they would make great simple, easy tags so that's what I decided to do today. I used an inspiration image from Pinterest to help choose my Christmass-y colours today.

To begin my tags, I started off with cutting all three layers from some green, red and browny-grey cardstock. I layered them all together in different combinations and adhered them together using liquid glue. I then also die cut the toppers from coordinating cardstock as well.

To create the backers I adhered these tags onto some light brown/cream cardstock and then cut around them with some scissors. I then threaded through coordinating colours of twine and that pretty much completed my tags today.

Of course you could add a sentiment on them, if you would like too. But in this case, I left them plain as I liked them just the way they were.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - please go ahead and check out Tracey McNeely's blog to hear all the details of this amazing event.

See you soon!
