Craftie Cafe - Chirpy Chirp Chirp (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Craftie Café and for my project I have an Easter card to share with you all. I’ll be using the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set from Lawn Fawn along with Grassy Hillside Borders and some Stitched Egg Dies from Birch Press Design.

To begin my card today, I stamped out my images from Chirpy Chirp Chirp using some Jet Black ink from Lawn onto some white cardstock. Then used Copic Markers to colour in my images. Once they were coloured, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I set them off to the side and began working on my other elements. I pulled out the Perfectly PlaidSpring Paper Pad from Lawn Fawn and cut it down into a rectangle. Then, I used the Stitched Egg Dies from Birch Press Design – but any egg shape dies would work here and cut the largest size out from the right hand side of my patterned paper. Once that was die cut I used the Grassy Hillside Borders and cut it from a piece of green cardstock. Once that was die cut I adhered it to the back of the patterned paper piece and then added foam tape.

Next, I masked off the edges of a card base and ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink directly onto the base. I removed the mask and then adhered the patterned paper panel over top. I then adhered my images on with foam tape and regular adhesive also inside my egg. Lastly, for the sentiment I cut down strip of black cardstock and white heat embossed the ‘Chirpy Chirp Chirp’ sentiment onto it. Then, I popped it up on more foam tape and adhered it onto my card also.

The video is linked down below for you all.

So that finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed and I’ll catch you all next time.

Craftie Cafe - Hoppy Easter (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Craftie Cafe and I have Easter card to share with you all using the Impression Obsession Egg Block dies to create some windows for sequin shakers and also the Some Bunny and Hoppy Easter from Lawn Fawn.

To begin my card today, I first cut down a piece of white cardstock to 5 1/8” by 3 ¾” and used the Egg Block dies to cut out the egg shapes. I cut two out of the right hand side of the cardstock, then partially die cut the die to have four cut across my card stock. Then, I flipped over my panel, added adhesive and adhered a piece of acetate down as well to begin my shaker. I took some foam tape and cut thin strips and adhered it around all the eggs in strips, so each line will have its own colour of sequin. Once I added foam tape onto the back, I used eight colours of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, two shades for each colour. I filled each line with the two shades of each colour and then removed the backers off the foam tape and adhered another piece of white cardstock behind. Now that my sequin shaker was done, I could move onto finishing up the rest of the card.

I stamped, coloured and cut out a flower and bunny image from Some Bunny by Lawn Fawn. I used Copic Markers to colour in my images. Once they were cut out, I added foam tape along the back and adhered them down into place over my sequin shaker background. Then, I used the A Birdie Told Me stamp set also from Lawn Fawn and stamped a speech bubble onto some white cardstock. Then I used the Hoppy Easter stamp set and stamped the sentiment ‘Hoppy Easter’ inside the speech bubble. Then I used some orange Copic Markers and coloured in the speech bubble also. I then used the coordinating dies to cut out the bubble. I then used some more foam dots and popped that onto my card panel as well. To finish off my card, I adhered the entire panel onto an orange piece of cardstock and then onto a card base.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed and were inspired. The video is linked down below for you too watch, also.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll catch you all next time.
