For my card today, I decided to use the Lawn Fawn Meow You Doin'? set along with Big Scripty Words and some Fishtail Banner dies from My Favorite Things. There was the cutest sentiment in the kitty set that I just had to use, so I decided to go quite cutesy.

To begin my card today, I stamped out all my kitty images from Meow You Doin'? and also the 'Big Hugs' sentiment from Big Scripty Words onto some Neenah Solar White Cardstock, and coloured them in with my Copic Markers. I then die cut them out and set them off to the side. For my panel, I used the Jumbo Fishtail Banners from My Favorite Things. I decided to use the largest and 2nd largest from the set, cut them out together so I can get a frame as well. Once they were both die cut from some watercolour paper, I used some Distress Inks to ink blend on the full banner shape. I used some two inch post it tape as my mask. Once everything was blended, I set my images over top to check the sizing and then adhered them on using flat adhesive and foam tape.

For my base of my card,. I used the new Really Rainbow 6x6 pad and picked out the red-pink paper that looks like watercolour stripes. Then, I decided that I wanted a little extra pink on the card, so I used Stitched Scalloped Borders dies from Lawn Fawn as well as Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks and cut out a pink border. I adhered that with foam tape at the top also. For my sentiments, I used the 'Big Hugs' I die cut before and then white heat embossed the 'Let's Be Friends Furever' from the Meow You Doin'? set onto a thin strip of black cardstock. I popped those both up wiht more foam tape and added them onto my card. For a finishing touch, I used some yellow twine from Lawn Fawn as well to finish off the top with a bow.

That finishes up my friendship card for today, I hope you enjoyed and got inspired. The video is linked down below for you all.

Craftie Cafe - Sending Some Hugs (Video)

Hi everyone, Eloise here today for Craftie Café and for today’s project, I’ll be using the same MarianneDesigns Tiny Chrysanthemum’s stamp set from last time to create a card with a different theme. Last time I made a Mother’s Day card, whereas this time I’ll be creating a basic ‘Hugs’ themed card that you can use for many occasions and also, this card design is super easy to replicate.

To begin my card today, I started off with a piece of white cardstock, and I used the base leaf and flower images from the set and used some Lawn Fawn Inks in Ballet Slippers, Peachy Keen, Peach Fuzz and Minty Fresh and stamped down all the images over the background. Once the background was completely stamped, I took some gold spray and flicked it over the background. I then used my heat tool and dried by background completely.

Next, I took the Hugs Die from My Favorite Things and die cut it directly from the middle of my panel. I made sure to keep the positive pieces too since I wanted to pop them up also. Once it was die cut, I flipped over my panel and added thin strips of adhesive around the back of the ‘Hugs’ word, then adhered a piece of cardstock on the back. Then, I flipped the panel over the right way, added strips of foamtape inside of the letters, removed the backers and adhered the die cut letters directly over top. For my additional sentiment, I used the ‘From The Heart’ stamp set and pulled the ‘Sending Some’ sentiment and white heat embossed it on a strip of black cardstock. I then foam mounted that over my ‘Hugs’ sentiment and my card was complete.

The video is linked down below for you all.

Thanks so much for stopping by today,. I hope you were inspired and I’ll catch you all next time.

Craftie Cafe - Mum I Love You (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Craftie Cafe and I have a Mother’s Day card to share with you all using the Marianne Designs Tiny Chrysanthemum’s Stamp Set along with Cutaway Alpha from Waffle Flower to create a custom sentiment.

To begin my card today I first started off with stamping out my flowers. I used some Lawn Fawn Inks and stamped them up. Each flower/leaf has four layers, I decided to leave out the outline layer and just stamp all three of the layers that make up the dimension of the flower. For the orange flower I used Peach Fuzz, Fake Tan and Pumpkin Spice, the pink flower I used Ballet Slippers, Bubblegum and Guava and for the blue flower I used Merman, Mermaid and Fish Tank. For my leaves I used Celery Stick, Freshly Cut Grass and Jalapeno. These inks aren't typically layering ink sets but Lawn Fawn have released many colours and they layer up quite nicely. Once all my layers were stamped out for my flowers and leaves – they aren’t perfect, which is fine I used my fine detail cutting scissors to cut around all my images. Now that they’re cut out, I set them off to the side and worked on my background.

I wanted to incorporate some yellow into the card. I took my Mijello Misson Gold Palette and water-coloured a little yellow patch in the centre of a piece of watercolour paper, making sure to blend out the edges with some water and a paper towel. I then dried it off with a heat tool and cut the panel down a little so I could have some patterned paper showing on either side. Now that my panel was cut down, I used the Cutaway Alpha set from Waffle Flower and gold heat embossed the word ‘Mum’ in the middle top of my panel. Then, I used some foam dots and popped up my flowers and leaves and adhered them in a row along the bottom of my word. To add an additional sentiment onto my card, I white heat embossed a ‘I Love You’ sentiment onto a black strip of cardstock. I then foam mounted that on top of my flowers as well. To finish off my card I used the Perfectly Plaid Spring Paper Pad from Lawn Fawn and adhered a pattern that used the same colours I did onto a white card base. I foam mounted my focal panel onto the middle of my card and that finished up my card for today.

The video is linked down below.

I hope you enjoyed and got inspired, be sure to check back in two weeks to see another type of card I made with this same stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll catch you all next time.
