Pretty Pink Posh - Friends Forever

Hi everyone, today I have a card that I made for Pretty Pink Posh, it was supposed to have a video - but half the footage got deleted and so since I liked how the card turned out, I thought I would just post without the video.

So for today’s project I’ll be pulling inspiration from a movie to create my card today. Inspiration can come from anywhere. I pull inspiration from other designers, from home d├ęcor items, from Pinterest, from a pattern to anything really and so I thought it would be fun to use the new Playful Puppies stamp set to create a cluster of dogs, that look and are coloured like Dalmatians. I love Disney movies and these dogs I think would be just so cute to cluster together and make the huge group of them just like in the movie; 101 Dalmatians. I’ll be using Copic Markers for all my colouring today and also altering my images to make them have spots also.

To begin my card today, I started off with stamping a ton of puppy images onto some Neenah Solar White Cardstock. I then used a Copic Multi Liner in 0.3 to draw on the spots. I knew a lot of the puppies would be covered by each other so I made the spots more so on their face to save some time. I then used my Copic Markers to colour them all in and then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. Originally I thought I would create a one layer panel and mask off all the puppies, but changed my mind in the end as I thought this would be easier in the long run.

(Copic Markers Used: W00, W0, W2, W5, W7 / R14 R24, R29 / R000, R00, R20, Y11, Y15, Y35, YG13, YG23, YG17, E53, E55, E57)

Next up, all I did was take a white card base and ink blend a little grey at the top, just to give the base some interest. Then, I laid out all my puppy images over lapping each other and created a tall cluster of them to fit over the majority of my card. I then pulled some Press N Seal and placed it over the top to hold them altogether. I added foam tape all along the backs of them and adhered them onto my card base. I then used my scissors to trim off any excess. Now that my card was pretty much complete, I pulled the ‘Best Friends Forever’ sentiment out, masked off the ‘Best’ and white heat embossed the ‘Friends Forever’ onto a strip of black cardstock. I then adhered that over my cluster and my card was complete.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and got inspired. I love creating scenes on my cards and re-creating a movie scene today was so much fun. All the supplies I used will be listed and linked down below, thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll catch you all next time.

Pink and Main - A Pocket Full of Kindness

Hi everyone, today I have the pleasure of playing with some Pink and Main stamps. They contacted me a little while ago asking if I would create a card for them using some of their stamps, of course I said yes and here we are. I used the Pocket of Sunshine stamp set along with the Cloudy Frames Dies for my card today.

To begin my card today I started off stamping out the pocket and flower stamp from Pocket of Sunshine. I used my Copic Markers to colour them in and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used a colour palette image from Pinterest for my inspiration. This always helps me so much when picking out colours. The blue for this is a little off, since I wanted more of a jean blue colour, but over all it's pretty similar.

I set my images off to the side and worked on my die cutting. I used the Cloudy Frame Dies and die cut the largest one from some white cardstock. I then added foam tape along the back of the frame and also the images. Next up, I cut down a Desert Storm card base from Neenah and used the 'Woven' embossing folders from We R Memory Keepers on the front.

Now that all my elements were ready, I adhered the white frame on at an angle then adhered the pocket and flowers down into the middle as well. For my sentiment I white heat embossed the 'A Pocket Full of Kindness' sentiment onto a thin black strip of card stock and adhered that down as well. To finish off I used some Glossy Dots in clear and sprinkled them around the base as well.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, thank you to Pink and Main for sending me some stamps to play with and I'll catch you all next time.

Hello Bluebird - Hooray & It's Your Birthday

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Hello Bluebird and I have two cards to share with you all using some older release products. The brand new release just came out the other day (unfortunately I don't have it to play with yet) but I made these two cards a little while ago and wanted to share. The first card I made is using the Elephant Friends stamp set along with the Gallery Frame Die #1 Dies. The second card I'll be using the Silly Birds stamp set to create my own background.

For my first card, I started off with stamping, colouring and die cutting the images I wanted to use from Elephant Friends. I used my Copic Markers to colour them in. Once they were all ready to go, I then used the Gallery Frame #1 Dies and cut them out of some plain white cardstock and also some yellow cardstock. I wanted the thick frame around the outside to be white, and the smaller sectioned off frames to be yellow. Lastly, while I had my die cutting machine out - I used some grassy hill border dies and cut them out of some green cardstock and cut down a blue background to go behind my frame.

(Copic Markers Used: RV13, RV25, RV09 / V12, V15, V17 / B0000, B000, B21 / R81, R83, R85 / YR14, YR18 / YG03, YG23, YG17 / Y11, Y15, Y35 / E53, E55, E57 / N0, N2, N4 / W0, W2, W5 / 0)

Now that all my pieces were ready to go, I started off with adhering my white frame onto a white card base, flat down onto the card. Then I inlayed the blue background and adhered it down flat as well. Next, I adhered down my green grassy border and adhered my yellow frame over top with foam tape. I then added adhesive onto the backs of my images and adhered them into place as well. For my sentiment, I decided to go super simple and just use the little banner and stamp 'Hooray!' on it for the elephant to hold. So that finished up my first card, now let's move onto the second card.

For my second card I was really inspired to just to a 'DIY' background with all these fun birds from Silly Birds. So I started off with stamping them all out onto some white cardstock and colouring them in with Copic Markers. Once they were all coloured, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. I then added foam tape onto the backs of all my images and set them off to the side.

(Copic Markers Used: E55, E57, E59 / W00, W0, W2 / W4, W5, W7 / 0 / RV13, RV25, RV09 / Y21, YR14, YR18 / Y11, Y15, Y38 / YG03, YG25, YG17 / BV02, BV04, BV08 / BG11, BG32, BG23 )

I cut down a card base from some more white cardstock and then adhered down all my birds. I filled in the smaller gaps with leaves and hearts to make it as full as possible. I also spread out the colours of birds to make it more pleasing to the eye. For my sentiment I used the 'It's Your Birthday' and white heat embossed it onto a black strip of cardstock. I then popped it up on more foam tape and my card was complete. Super simple but very heavy with colouring which I love.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and were inspired. Make sure you check out the brand new release items from Hello Bluebird, they are amazing and I can't wait to play with them.

Craftie Cafe - Hay There (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Craftie Cafe and for this card I’ll be using the Hay There stamp set from Lawn Fawn once again but this time, I’ll be creating a simple ‘Hello’ themed card instead of a birthday card. I’ll also be pulling in the Peek A Boo Backdrop Dies as well as Grassy Hillside Borders Dies to finish off my card today.

To begin my card today, I started off with colouring in my images. I used my Copic Markers and then used all the coordinating dies to cut them out. I set them off to the side and worked on my background. I decided to go super simple and to cut a simple blue background from some plain cardstock and adhered my frame from Peek A Book Backdrop overtop. I then used the Grassy Hillside Borders Dies and cut two strips out of some green cardstock as well. I adhered them on both “layers’ of my peek a boo frame for my scene.

(Copics Used: W00, W0, W2, W5, W7 / R000, R00, R20 / E40, E41, E42, E43, E44 / E50, E51, E53, E55, E57, E59 / R81, R83, R85 / R14, R24, R29 / Y11, Y15, Y35 / YR14, YR18 / E000, E00, E21 / C0, C1, C3)

I then used my critters I had coloured earlier and adhered them all into place, tucking behind the grass borders sometimes for added effect. Once my scene was adhered together I adhered the entire panel to a card base. For my sentiment, I white heat embossed the ‘Hay There’ sentiment from the same stamp set onto a strip of black cardstock. I adhered it onto the right hand side and my card was complete.

Eloise Blue -- You Are Here!

------------------------------------------------

Now that all the details are out of the way, let's move onto the card and video I made.

I used the brand new Flourishing Fuchsia's stamp set today along with the Lovely Script Dies and older Scallop Frame Dies.

To begin my card today I started off with stamping out my Fuchsia's. I stamped them onto some Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I used inspiration from Google along with the amazing design team on how to colour these. Once they were all coloured I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. While I had my die cutting machine out I also cut out the Scallop Frame Die along with the Lovely Script Die which I cut from some white cardstock and fun foam. I adhered the sentiment together and set them off to the side.

Next, it was time to work on my background. I took out my Mijello Misson Gold Watercolours and water-coloured a blue background onto a piece of white watercolour cardstock. I dried off with a heat tool and now could assemble my card. I started off with adding foam tape to the back of my white frame and adhered it onto my watercolored panel. I then added adhesive to the backs of my flowers and leaves and adhered them at the top of my panel and then cut off all the over hanging excess.

Lastly, I adhered my sentiment over my flowers and popped up my panel onto a white card base that I added pink striped patterned paper on the top and bottom of.

Craftie Cafe - Happy Birthday (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm back for Craftie Cafe and I'll be using the Hay There stamp set from Lawn Fawn to create a birthday card. I'll also be using the Tim Holtz Dotted Stencil as well as some Ranger Crackle Paste for my background.

To begin my card today, I started off with my background, since I knew that it would take a while to dry. First, I took a piece of watercolour cardstock and taped it down to my non-stick sheet. I then added my dotted stencil over top. Next, I added some of my Texture Paste onto my non-stick mat and then added some of my Distress Oxide Ink to the side as well. I used a palette knife and mixed it together. I used Peacock Feathers first and added that over the top of my stencil, then I repeated the same thing for Twisted Citron, but added that at the bottom of my stencil. I then set it aside to dry and crackle. Then, I moved onto stamping. I stamped out my images from Hay There and also the balloon from Party Animal. I coloured them using Copic Markers and then cut them out using the coordinating dies.

(Copics Used: E43, E44, E47 / E53, E55, E57, E59 / R81, R83, R85 / R000, R00, R20 / W00, W0, W2, W5, W7 / Y11, Y15, Y35 / YR12, YR18 / E50, E51, E53 / BG11, BG32, BG23)

At this point, my paste was pretty much dry, I finished it off with a heat tool and laid out my images over the top. I used some flat and foam adhesive to adhere them down to the centre. For my sentiment, I white heat embossed 'Happy Birthday' onto a thin black strip of cardstock and popped it up on the left hand side of my card. Lastly, I added some green striped paper from Really Rainbow onto my card base and adhered my panel directly over the top with more fun foam.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed. The video is linked down below for you all to watch.

Thanks so much for stopping by and watching today, be sure to check back as I'll be using the same stamp set again for a different occasion of card soon.

Spellbinders - You Got This (Video)

Hi everyone, today I'm here for Spellbinders. A couple of months ago, I was sent a few dies to play with, but I've just been swamped so I'm only just getting a chance to play with them now. I absolutely love these dies, they're super intricate and gorgeous. Thank you so much Spellbinders for sending me them to play with, I love them!

For my card today, I used the Lavender Trike Dies along with Poppy and Lavender Spray Dies. For my sentiment, I used the Encouraging Greetings stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh as well as some jewels from them and for the 'arch' frame, I used the Semi Circle dies from Sunny Studio Stamps and a ruler.

To begin my card today, I die cut the two dies from plain Neenah Solar White cardstock, and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I thought that would be the best way to achieve several colours on one die cut. Once they were all coloured, I set them off to the side and worked on the arched frame. I took a piece of white cardstock and used one the larger Semi Circle dies from Sunny Studio Stamps and die cut it from the top. I then used a ruler and exacto knife to cut a rectangle at the bottom to create my arched frame. I added foam tape onto the back and set it off to the side.

Next, I took a piece of patterned paper from the Perfectly Plaid Spring paper pad and adhered it to a white card base. I then adhered my arched frame over top as well. I added flat adhesive to the flowers and stuck those down, then added foam tape to the bike and adhered it slightly over the flowers. To finish up I used the Encouraging Greetings stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh and stamped the 'You Got  This' sentiment with black ink at the top of my panel. Then, used some Watermelon and Pink Blush Jewels and scattered them around my card.

That finished up my card for today, the video is linked down below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and thanks to Spellbinders again for sending me these gorgeous dies to play with! Catch you all next time.
