Reverse Confetti - Anything Goes

Hi friends, today I'm back for Reverse Confetti as their July/August Fetti Friend and today I have a card to share with you all using the Pattern Builder Stamp Set as well as the Cue The Confetti Paper Pad for my colour inspiration.

To begin I stamped out the main image from the Pattern Builder Set onto some plain white cardstock and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Then I went in with an additional colour to fill in the blanks. I found this easier to do since I could line them up better. Once they were all stamped and cut out, I added foam tape to the backs of them and adhered them onto another piece of white cardstock that I had cut down to 3 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" tall. I scattered them around in a random pattern and cut off the excess.

For my sentiment I used the 'The Most Beauty' stamp set and just cut off the 'Just Thinking Of You' sentiment from one of the larger ones, because I wanted to white heat emboss it onto a thin strip of black cardstock. Once I heat embossed that I added more foam tape and adhered it onto my card as well. Lastly to finish off I added a piece of the hexagon patterned paper to the side as that's the paper where I got the colour inspiration from and adhered that to the right hand side of my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and got inspired and I'll be back soon for some more Reverse Confetti posts.

Hello Bluebird - Three Cards

Hi friends, today I'm here to share three projects I made for Hello Bluebird. I'll be using the brand new July Release including, Fishin' Hole, Bee Happy and Moose and Friends. These sets are so super cute and I'm excited to share what I created with them.

For my first card, I used the Fishin' Hole Stamp Set. I stamped out the images and coloured them in with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers. I die cut them out using the coordinating dies and set them off to the side to work not the background. I used my Mijello Misson Gold Watercolour Set and did stripes of blue watercolour for the background and then I dried it off with a heat tool.

I then added foam tape to the backs of all my images and adhered them onto my background. For my sentiment I white heat embossed the 'Hope Your Day Is Reel-y Great!' sentiment onto a thin strip of black cardstock. I also popped that up on more foam tape and adhered it to the right hand side. To finish off my card I adhered my panel onto a piece of leafy patterned paper and my card was complete.

For my second card I used the Bee Happy Stamp Set. I stamped down my images onto some white cardstock and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and set them off to the side. For my background I took a piece of watercolour cardstock and ink blended some cloud shapes onto the background using a stencil.

I then adhered my images onto the background using foam tape and also stamped a couple of trails behind the bees. I cut off the excess on the strawberry plant so it would sit flat on the card and then I white heat embossed the 'just bee-cause' sentiment onto a thin black strip of cardstock as well. I added foam tape onto the backs and that finished off my second card.

For my third card, I pulled out the Moose and Friends stamp set, I stamped down the images and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I cut them out using the dies and set them aside. For my background I used the Grassy Knoll Dies and cut out a piece of watercolour paper with one of the grass hill dies. I then used Distress Inks to ink blend the sky and also the grass. I then flicked on some water and heat dried the panel. I then adhered the pieces together using foam tape.

Next, I added adhesive to the backs of all my images and I adhered them into place on the panel. For the additional sentiment, I white heat embossed the 'Let's Celebrate' onto a think strip of black cardstock and adhered it underneath the balloon sentiment. To finish up I adhered the entire panel onto a piece of pink striped patterned paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed seeing all three of my cards today and got inspired. See you all next time!

Reverse Confetti - Stock Your Stash

Hi friends, today I'm back for Reverse Confetti as a Fetti Friend Guest Designer and for today's post is a Stock Your Stash post. The theme this month is Oh, Baby. So I used the 'The Greatest Adventure' stamp set along with 'The Most Beauty' for the sentiment and then the 'Striped Circle Cover Panel' Die as well.

I decided to make a baby themed card using the two critters from 'The Greatest Adventure' and then a custom sentiment made from words in the 'The Most Beauty' stamp set as well. To finish it off I altered the background die to fit my design better and finished it off with some paper from the Cut The Confetti Paper Pad.

I started off with stamping my images, colouring them with Copic Markers and cutting them out using the coordinating dies. Next I used a circle die and cut a circle out of vellum. Then I used some white cardstock to cut out the Striped Circle Cover Panel die as well. I used my trimmer to cut down the background die as I wanted it to fit my card better. I then added foam tape along the back and adhered it down to a piece of patterned paper from Cue The Confetti. Next I added foam tape to the backs of my images and adhered them down onto the vellum as well.

Next I took a piece of black cardstock and white heat embossed my custom sentiment that I made from words in the 'The Most Beauty' stamp set. I then added foam tape onto the back and adhered it onto my vellum circle as well. To finish off I added runner adhesive to the back of the vellum circle and adhered it off to the side of my card panel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I'll catch you all soon for another guest design project!

So let’s move on to the card I made. I used the new Elegant Florals stamp set along with The Most Beauty stamp set as well. I also repurposed some packaging and use the new Cue The Confetti Paper Pad.

To begin my card today I started off with stamping out a few of the floral clusters from Elegant Florals onto some white cardstock. I then used my Copic Markers to colour in my images. Once they were coloured using the patterned paper I wanted to use for inspiration, I cut them out using the coordinating dies. I then added foam tape to the back of them and set them off to the side. Next, I cut a circle from the brown paper that my paper pad came wrapped in and stamped down one of the sentiments from The Most Beauty stamp set into the centre.

Next, I took the rainbow striped piece of paper from the Cut The Confetti Paper Pad and adhered it down onto a square card base. I then adhered my brown circle with the sentiment in the middle. Lastly, I removed the backers from the flower clusters and arranged them into a wreath. To finish off my project, I took a piece of brown twine and tied it in a bow at the bottom of my wreath.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed. Be sure to check out the designers above and follow along if you haven't come from the blog hop. See you all next time!

---------------------------------------------------------------

Now let's move onto my card for today. Today I just used the new Greatest Adventure stamp set. I also pulled in the new paper pad.

To begin my card today I started off with stamping out all my images from the Greatest Adventure stamp set. I then used various colours of Copic Markers to colour in my images. I used a colour combo inspired from Pinterest, which is down below for reference. Once all my images were coloured, I cut them out using the coordinating dies. I set them off to the side and worked on my background elements.

(Copic Markers Used: R24, R29, R89 / YR31, YR24, E07 / W00, W0 / W00, W2, W4 / W5, W7, W9 / E42 E44, E47 / E50, E53, E55 / R00, R20 / Y11, Y15, Y19 / YG61, YG63, YG67 / BG11, BG23, BG32, G12 / B24, B26, B39 / 0)

Next I used a simple curvy line die to cut the different layers for my scene. You could do this with scissors if you don't have any landscape dies. I used Distress Inks to ink blend each piece. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass, Salty Ocean for the water and Tumbled Glass for the sky. I then adhered all my layers together and stamped the sentiment 'You Are My Greatest Adventure' on the top with black ink. Then I added foam tape to my images and adhered them in my scene as well.

For a last finishing touch I added a piece of patterned paper from the new Cue The Confetti paper pad and adhered my scene on top, these colours just worked perfectly!

Reverse Confetti - July Release Countdown Day Two

Hi everyone, and welcome to Release Countdown Day Two. Today we are showing off the new 'Mod Floral Stack' and 'Pattern Builder' stamp sets. The list is down below of the designers sneak peek posts.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Release Day Two:

Eloise Blue

---------------------------------------------------------------

Prizes Information:

$15 prize to a Blog commenter, $15 to a Facebook commenter. Be sure to leave comments on all the designers blogs for a chance to win, and also the Facebook post, too! Comments will close at noon CST time on May 7th, and the winner will be announced at 5pm on May 7th, on the blog and facebook page. Good luck!

---------------------------------------------------------------

Now let's move onto my card for today. Today I just used the new Mod Floral Stack stamp set being shown today, but the image from the other set is down below; it's a good one! I also pulled in the new paper pad.

To begin my card today I started off with placing the stamps in my MISTI, I started off with the largest image first. I then inked it up with a light yellow ink and stamped it down, next I took a medium shade yellow ink and inked it up again - this time I dabbed off the excess on the sides of the image with a cloth and stamped down again, this creates a gradient effect. Lastly, I repeated the same step with the darkest shade of yellow ink, but dabbing off more. This creates one solid image, but it has a ombre/gradient to it - which is super cool. I repeated this for all four of the images, I did the two largest in yellow, the two smallest in pink. Then I cut them out using the coordinating dies.

When I received my package from Reverse Confetti, my paper pad was wrapped in this brown textured paper, so I deiced to use that as a layer on my card. I cut down a piece and adhered it with foam tape onto a piece of green/blue striped patterned paper from the new Cue The Confetti Paper Pad. I then added foam tape onto the backs of my images I stamped earlier and arranged them to look like butterflies. I love this so much! I then added coordinating colours of enamel dots to the centre.

To finish up this card, I took some brown twine and added a bow to the panel. I also white heat embossed the 'Many Thanks' sentiment from Mod Floral Stack set as well onto a thin strip of black cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see the second day of sneak peeks, be sure to check back tomorrow, to leave a comment and also visit the other designers above. See you tomorrow!

Reverse Confetti - July Release Countdown Day One

Hi everyone, and welcome to my first post as a Fetti Friend for the months of July and August. Today is Release Countdown Day One and we are showing off the new 'Elegant Florals' and 'The Most Beauty' stamp sets. The list is down below of the designers sneak peek posts.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Release Day One:

Eloise Blue

---------------------------------------------------------------

Prizes Information:

$15 prize to a Blog commenter, $15 to a Facebook commenter. Be sure to leave comments on all the designers blogs for a chance to win, and also the Facebook post, too! Comments will close at noon CST time on May 7th, and the winner will be announced at 5pm on May 7th, on the blog and facebook page. Good luck!

---------------------------------------------------------------

Now let's move onto my card for today. As well as using the Elegant Florals Set and The Most Beauty Set; I also pulled in the new Geo Panel Die as well.

I started off with stamping out the floral image and coloured it in with Copic Markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut it out. For my background, I took a piece of watercolour cardstock and used some Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks on the bottom of the panel, fading up to white. I then sprinkled some water droplets and dried it with a heat tool. I then die cut the Geo Panel Die at an angle from the centre of my panel. Once it was die cut, I added foam tape along the back of all the individual pieces and added it onto a white card base. This way it gives a ton of dimension and just adds more interest to a simple background.

Lastly, I added foam tape on the back of my flower cluster and adhered it to the panel as well as white heat embossing the 'You Make Me Smile' sentiment from The Most Beauty stamp set onto a rectangle of black cardstock.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you ensued. Remember to leave a comment to be entered into the giveaway. Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow.
