Hello Bluebird - Two Cards Using Letter Dies

Hi friends, today I'm here for Hello Bluebird and I have two cards using the Charlie Alpha Dies along with Bee Happy and Otter Friends.

To begin my first card I started off with stamping out my images onto some white cardstock and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out and set them off to the side. For my sentiment, I wanted to make part of it custom, so I used the Charlie Alpha Die Set and cut out the letters from the same white cardstock. I added foam tape on the backs of each of the letters and also the bees.

(Copic Markers Used: RV13, RV25, RV19 / YG21, YG13, YG17 / E53, E57 / W2, W5, W7 / Y11, Y15, Y35 / R17, R29, R89 / B0000, B000, 0)

Now all my elements were ready I could assemble my card. I pulled out a blue piece of cardstock and cut it down to 4" wide by 5 1/2" tall. I adhered flowers around the edges first flat. Then I adhered my grid sentiment next. I made it a little wonky since I felt like that fit with the card better. I then adhered my bees around the project as well. To finish it off I stamped the 'you're' sentiment on top of my grid and that finished up my first card.

For my second card I went along the same lines. I stamped out my images from Otter Friends, coloured them with Copic Markers and cut them all out with their coordinating dies. I set them off to the side and worked on the rest of my die cutting. I cut the same Charlie Alpha Dies from white cardstock to spell the word 'otterly'. While I had my die cutting machine out I also cut a piece of vellum using the Grassy Knoll Dies for waves.

(Copic Markers Used: V01, V15, V17 / Y11, Y15, Y38 / YG21, YG13, YG17 / E50, E53, E55, E57 / W1, 0 / R20)

Next I added foam tape onto the backs of all my images and adhered them into place on the vellum piece. I also added foam tape to the letters aside from the o and y. Then adhered them into place as well. I white heat embossed the rest of my sentiment onto thin black strips and adhered them onto my project as well. To finish off I used the same blue cardstock and adhered my vellum onto it.

That finished up both cards for today, I hope you enjoyed and also, there's a new release coming soon to Hello Bluebird, so make sure you check out their Instagram feed for sneaks!
