Hello Bluebird - Two Fall Themed Cards

Hi friends, today I'm back for Hello Bluebird and for these projects I'm going to be using the brand new August release (which is amazing by the way) I'll be focusing on using the Fall Friends Stamp Set, Birch Trees Dies, Blowing Leaves Background Stamp as well as the Gallery Frame Three Dies.

To begin my first card, I started off with stamping out my images from Fall Friends onto some watercolour card stock. I then clear heat embossed over them and coloured them in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I then die cut them out, and set them off to the side. While I was die  cutting, I used the Birch Tree Dies with some watercolour card stock, to match my images texture.

(Zigs Used: No. 50 Yellow, No. 37 Cornflour Blue, No. 24 Wine Red, No. 22 Carmine Red, No. 43 Olive Green, No. 61 Light Brown, No. 96 Mid Grey, No. 91 Light Grey, No. 83 Lilac, No. 69 Blush, No. 71 Beige, No. 302 Haze Blue)

For my background, I took another piece of watercolour card stock and stamped my Blowing Leaves Background Stamp on it with Versamark Ink. I then coated it with clear embossing powder and heat set it. I used various colours of Distress Inks and ink blended over the entire background. I then cut a separate piece and ink blended some green on top for the grass area. I then adhered both background pieces together along with the Birch Tree Dies. I then adhered my images into my scene as well. To finish up, I used a piece of black card stock and stamped the 'When Friends Gather, Memories Are Made' sentiment and I white heat embossed that onto the card stock. I popped it up on foam tape and adhered it to my card. For a last step, I adhered the entire panel onto a blue card base and that finished up card one.

For my second card, I used the same Fall Friends Stamp Set, stamped it down onto white card stock and then coloured my images in with Copic Markers. Once they were coloured, I die cut them using the coordinating dies. While I had my die cutting machine out I also cut out the grid die from the new Gallery Frame 3 Dies as well as some grassy hills from Grassy Knoll Dies.

(Copics Used: BV02, BV04, BV08 / E53, E55, E57 / R20 / 0 / W00, W2 / Y17, YR04, YR18, E37 / YG61, YG63, YG67 / YR21, YR24, YR27, E07)

I set all my die cuts off to the side and began ink blending. I used some blues and ink blended them onto a plain piece of watercolour card stock and ink blended some greens onto my grassy hill pieces. I adhered them together and then behind my grid piece with foam tape. I adhered my pumpkins onto the front panel and my fox onto the left of the panel. For my sentiment I used the 'A Friendly Hello' and white heat embossed that onto a thin black strip of card stock as well. To finish off I used some patterned paper from Sunny Studio Stamps as my background as it pulled all the fall colours together.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you all next time!
