Craft Online - Hang In There (Video)

Hello friends, today I'm here for Craft Online to create a summery encouragement card. I used the Hang In There Die Set from Altenew along with the Stitched Hexagon Dies and Branches and Flowers Die Set from Poppy Crafts.

I started off with using some green watercolours on a piece of watercolour cardstock. I roughly painted over the entire panel using different shades of green. I dried the panel with a heat tool and cut out my leaves from the Branches and Flowers Die Set. While I had my die cutting machine out, I cut three sizes of hexagons from a white panel and also the same three from some blue watercolour patterned paper

I added foam tape onto the back of the white die cut panel and adhered it onto a black panel. I then added flat adhesive to the blue hexagons. I added foam tape to the backs of the leaves I cut and adhered them into place as well.

For the sentiment I die cut the 'Hang in There' from some of the green watercolour patterned paper and then also from black. I used some liquid glue to adhere them together off centre.

Lastly, I added double foam tape onto the back of my sentiment and adhered it into the centre of the hexagon.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and got inspired and I'll see you next time.

Hello Bluebird - Preview Week Day Four (Video)

Hello friends, today is Day Four, the last day of the Preview Week for Hello Bluebird Stamps newest release. Tomorrow is the big day. Today though we are showcasing Portrait Pals and Typed Everyday Stamp Sets along with Photo Stack and Hello Friend Dies. I'll just be using the Portrait Pals and Typed Everyday Stamp Sets but those dies work perfectly with this stamp set, too!

I started off with stamping out out my images with their coordinating feet and leaves and coloured them in with Copics. I then cut them out using all the coordinating dies.

(Copic Markers Used: YG21, YG03, YG25, YG17 / Y21, Y32, Y35, Y38 / N0, N2, N4, N6 / W00, W0, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, W7 / YG61, YG63, YG67, G28 / R000, R00, R30, R20 / YR31, YR23, YR24, E99 / 0 / E41, E42, E43, E4 / E70, E71, E74, E77)

For the background, I used Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks and ink blended these onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. I flicked on some water and dried it off with a heat tool. I then adhered my images onto the inside, three right side up and three upside down, making sure to leave enough room for the sentiment.

I then cut down two pieces of white cardstock to 1 1/2" tall and 4" wide. I then added foam tape and adhered it onto the top and bottom of the card. I then added adhesive to the backs of the leaves and adhered them into place and added foam tape to the feet of each of the animals and adhered them accordingly too. Lastly I took the Typed Everyday stamp set and white heat embossed a sentiment onto some black cardstock. I adhered that into place to finish up.

The video is linked down below.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed. Thanks so much for being here all week following along to see the brand new release.

Remember the cards I've been sharing all week along with the other team members are apart of a release coming tomorrow. All items will be available to purchase and I'll also have a close up of the entire release in a video, so make sure you check back then!

See you soon,

Hello Bluebird - Preview Week Day Three (Video)

Hello friends, today is Day Three of the Preview Week for Hello Bluebird Stamps newest release. Today we are showcasing the Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Gatherings Stamp Set and that's what I'll be using on my card today.

To start off my project today I stamped out my images from both the Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Gatherings Stamp Sets and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I tried to colour them as pastel as possible to mix in with the Spring/Easter theme. Once they were coloured I die cut them out using their coordinating dies. While I had my die cutting machine out I also used the Gallery Frame 3 Dies and then cut out the middle lines with an knife to make three rectangles instead of six squares.

(Copic Markers Used: E41, E42, E43, E44 / E70, E71, E74, E77 / W00, W0, W1, W3 / C00, 0 / YG21, YG03, YG25, YG17 / Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15 / Y21, YR12, YR21, YR02 / BG10, BG11, BG23, BG15 / B63, BV13, BV02, BV04 / R00, R20, R21, R14, R24)

I then took a piece of green gingham patterned paper and adhered my white frame over the top with foam tape. I then added adhesive to the backs of all my images and adhered them into place. For my sentiment I used the 'You Are Eggstra Special To Me' sentiment from Spring Gatherings and used my MISTI to help stamp it in the correct spot.

The video is linked down below.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed. Thanks so much for stopping by today.

The new items I used today will be available for purchase on the 15th.

Hello Bluebird - Preview Week Day Two (Video)

Hello friends, today is Day Two of the Preview Week for Hello Bluebird Stamps newest release. Today we are showcasing Party Parade Stamp Set along with Basic Borders and Happy Birthday Dies as well. Today I'll just be using the Party Parade Stamp Set along with altering the Gallery Frame 2 Dies.

I started off with stamping out the images from the Party Parade Stamp Set and colouring them in with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. While I had my die cutting machine out I ran through the Gallery Frame 2 Dies out of some white cardstock. Since I only wanted it partially die cut, I ran through half first and re-positioned the die, slotting it into the grooves of the die cut side and then ran it back through on the other side of the die. This created a square instead of a rectangle (this is better explained in the video).

(Copic Markers Used: E95, E97, E99, E07 / R000, R00, R30, R20 / BG10, BG11, BG23, BG49 / E41, E42, E43, E44 / C00, C0, C1 / W00, W9, W1, W3 / Y35, YR14, YR16, YR18 / YG21, YG03, YG23, YG17 / RV10, RV13, RV25, RV19 / B41, B32, B34, B26 / B000, B00, B01, B02 / YG61, YG63, YG67, G28)

Next, I took a yellow piece of patterned paper and adhered my white frame on there with foam tape. I then added foam tape behind all the banners and adhered them into place as well. Lastly, I added foam to my images and adhered them over lapping at the bottom of the frame.

The video is linked down below.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed. Thanks so much for being here today and I'll see you tomorrow.

The new items I used today will be available for purchase on the 15th.

Hello Bluebird - Preview Week Day One (Video)

Hello friends, today is Day One of the Preview Week for Hello Bluebird Stamps newest release. Today we're sharing the new Banner Buddies and Spring Banner Script Stamp Sets and Vertical Banner Die Set. I used all three of those products on my card today, as well.

I started off with stamping my images from Banner Buddies and colouring them with Copic Markers. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies. For the banner, I stamped it on some patterned paper and die cut it out using the Vertical Banner Die Set, I also cut another out of white to create a card base later. While I had my Die Cutting Machine out, I also cut the little stick piece out of Kraft Cardstock and using the Grassy Knoll Dies I cut a border from green patterned paper as well.

(Copic Markers Used: YG61, YG63, YG67, G28 / YR23, YR18 / RV42, R32, R14, R24 / R000, R00, R20, R30 / BG10, BG11, BG23, BG49 / N0, N2, N4, N6, N8 / W00, W0, W2, W3 / E41, E42, E43, E44, E47)

I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment from Spring Banner Script onto the banner and adhered my grass border at the bottom as well. I then adhered my images around it. I scored the white banner I cut and sliced off the bottom to make it flat, I then used some runner adhesive to adhere the front panel to the back to make a mini shaped card.

The video is linked down below.

That finishes up my card for today, thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow for Day Two.

The new items I used today will be available for purchase on the 15th.

Hello Bluebird - We'll Weather The Storm Together

Hello friends, I'm here today to share a quick card using the Rainy Day stamp set from Hello Bluebird.

I started off with stamping out image from Rainy Day onto some white cardstock and coloured it in with Copic Markers. I then die cut it out using the coordinating dies

(Copic Markers Used: BG10, BG11, BG23, BG49 / Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19 / RV10, RV13, RV25, RV19 / E000, E00, E21, E53 / E41, E42, E43, E44 / C00, C0, C1)

For the background, I took some watercolours and did a simple striped design using different shades of blues. I dried it off with a heat tool and adhered my coloured image on top. I then die cut some clouds from Rainbow Sky Dies and adhered them into place as well.

Lastly for the sentiment I stamped 'We'll Weather The Storm Together' on the right hand side with black ink. I then adhered my panel onto some aqua striped pattern paper and then onto a card base.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed.

Be sure to check around next week for sneaks (on Instagram) of the brand new release for Easter/Spring releasing on 15th of Feb. You won't wanna miss it! Below is a sneaky peek of a few of the new images. I'm so excited!
